We have about 50 volunteers who donate their time to become editors, sound engineers, readers, copiers and dispatchers. We can offer our totally free service because we raise funds by producing recordings for other organisations, have an occasional flag day and receive donations.

We are a member of the Talking News Federation which provides support and guidance to at least 300 Talking Newspapers throughout the UK.

Our Aim … to provide a varied selection of local news to those living with sight loss. In doing so, we enable access to information about the local community,  reduce the feeling of isolation and provide links to other support organisations.
